Who we are

We are on a mission to empower everyday health. Every product we carry is registered with the health authorities and meets their safety and quality requirements, and we bring it to the doctors, pharmacists and patients who need it most.

The market we serve

A large, import-led market

Most of the money Iraq spends on medicines goes to imported products, so foreign manufacturers need a local partner who can register, promote and deliver. Medicines reach patients through hospitals and thousands of community pharmacies, supplied by licensed drug stores and promoted by scientific drug bureaus.

80%+of medicine spending is on imports
450+public and private hospitals
5,300+registered community pharmacies
11,000+registered pharmacists

Population: Iraq Ministry of Planning, 2026. Medicine spending: industry estimate citing IQVIA and Ministry of Health data, 2024. Import share: Iraqi Association for Pharmaceutical Manufacturers, 2024 (local products about 17% of spending). Hospitals: Arab NGO Network for Development and American University of Beirut, 2023 (295 public, 155 private; more have opened since). Pharmacies and pharmacists: Syndicate of Iraqi Pharmacists, reported in the American Journal of Health-System Pharmacy.

Regulatory and quality

Documented procedures from dossier to patient

Every step a manufacturer is accountable for is covered by a written procedure, and we share them in our due-diligence pack.

Regulatory affairs

We prepare and submit product files to the Kurdistan Region's medicines regulator and the federal Ministry of Health, and track every registration and renewal.

Pharmacovigilance

A named pharmacovigilance contact receives adverse-event and quality reports, logs each one and passes it to the manufacturer within 24 hours.

Warehouse and GDP

Our 500 m² warehouse in Erbil is run to Good Distribution Practice procedures, with access to refrigerated storage for products that need it.

Traceability and recalls

Stock is tracked by batch down to the customer, so we can complete a recall within 24 to 48 hours of notice.

Systems and reporting

Sales and stock run on our in-house Sales Management System, which tracks every product by batch, region and customer.

In the field

We build brands with doctors and pharmacists

Case study

Launching a European dermatology range in Iraq

A European manufacturer appointed us as its exclusive partner. We registered the range, built demand with doctors and pharmacists, and extended it to new governorates within a year.

Year-two orders above year one, in units and value

  1. Registration
    Product files approved

Dossiers prepared and submitted; first shipment cleared and stocked.

  2. Launch, 2025

Round tables with specialists in two cities, pharmacy training, doctor podcasts and Kurdish and Arabic content.

  4. Expansion
    New governorates

The range extended beyond its launch cities, supported by sell-through reporting to the manufacturer.

Risk management and compliance

Built to deliver reliably, and to the standards multinationals require

Supply in Iraq is exposed to conflict, port closures and currency swings, and ours continued through all three in 2025 and 2026. These are the controls behind that.

Our customers

Leading pharmacies, hospitals and specialist clinics

We supply leading pharmacies, ranked hospitals and specialist clinics across Iraq. Each account is vetted before we open it and reviewed as it grows.

Credit terms

Assessed credit limits and agreed terms

Qualified customers buy on agreed terms within an assessed credit limit that we monitor. Pharmacies and hospitals stay stocked, and our partners' products and our balance sheet stay protected.

Supply and route planning

Orders and routes planned ahead of disruption

We monitor shipping routes, border and port conditions, security and currency movements, and we order and stock ahead of it. Planned delivery routes across the governorates shorten delivery times and reduce transport cost and risk.

Compliance

Anti-bribery and anti-corruption (ABAC)

Our written ABAC policy follows the standards multinational manufacturers require of their partners, including the US Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and the UK Bribery Act. No improper payments or gifts, and every dealing with healthcare professionals is documented.

Compliance programme

What partners can audit

These policies are in force across the company and are included in our due-diligence pack.

  • Written ABAC policy and code of conduct
  • ABAC training for every employee, refreshed each year
  • Healthcare professionals engaged only under written agreements for genuine services, at fair-market rates
  • Sanctions and export-control screening of customers and suppliers
  • Due diligence on every sub-distributor before appointment
  • A confidential channel for reporting concerns
