What manufacturers ask us before appointing a distributor and medical representatives for Iraq and the Kurdistan Region.
Derman Pharma is a pharmaceutical and health products distributor based in Erbil. We register, import, promote and distribute health products across Iraq, including the Kurdistan Region, as the exclusive partner of the manufacturers we represent.
All 19 governorates. In the Kurdistan Region: Erbil, Sulaymaniyah, Duhok and Halabja. In federal Iraq: Baghdad, Basra, Nineveh, Kirkuk, Anbar, Babil, Karbala, Najaf, Diyala, Salahuddin, Wasit, Maysan, Dhi Qar, Qadisiyyah and Muthanna. We supply from our Erbil warehouse on planned delivery routes and through appointed sub-distributors.
Yes. Our medical representatives and team leaders visit doctors, dentists and pharmacists, run doctor round tables and pharmacy training, and produce content in Kurdish and Arabic. The team includes a dentist, a pharmacist, a microbiologist and an optometrist.
Yes. We prepare and submit product files to the Kurdistan Region's medicines regulator and the federal Ministry of Health, and track every registration and renewal.
Today we distribute dermatology and dermocosmetics, and oral and dental care, including the Erbagil and Promis ranges from Italy. We are open to new brand partners in prescription medicines, over-the-counter products, medical devices and herbal medicines.
Each manufacturer appoints us as its sole distributor for Iraq. A partnership starts with an enquiry and an introductory call, followed by a non-disclosure agreement and our due-diligence pack, a market plan, the exclusive agreement, registration and the first order, then a doctor-led launch with monthly reporting.
Retail pharmacies, public and private hospitals, specialist clinics, dental clinics and sub-distributors across Iraq. Each account is vetted before we open it and reviewed as it grows.
We follow a written anti-bribery and anti-corruption policy aligned with the US Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and the UK Bribery Act, and screen customers and suppliers for sanctions and export controls. A named pharmacovigilance contact passes adverse-event and quality reports to the manufacturer within 24 hours.
